  <title><![CDATA[Applications Open for GTFWC Scholarships]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Each year, the Georgia Tech Faculty Women&rsquo;s Club (GTFWC) awards scholarships to Georgia Tech undergraduates who have at least one parent permanently employed by the school or an <a href="http://larm.gatech.edu/affiliated-organizations">affiliated organization</a>, as recognized by the Office of Legal Affairs and Risk Management. Applications are now open for the next distribution of scholarships.</p>

<p>Applicants must have completed at least one full semester at Tech; fill out the official <a href="https://baseline.campuslabs.com/p/Project.aspx?q=84aa2d71c2614fc10d4467e57cb7651cbbdcdd1d611feeaa6332fe5f4f5ad12e99aa939d5188b397ed33705d6e9231210bfa9bdf349a9f62c8b3b9ddeff1cf8c&amp;r=1b2d6ff5-add2-4eb6-abd2-303bd25840b7">application</a>; write a short essay; and submit their official transcripts by Friday, March 13.</p>

<p>Over the last 28 years, GTFWC has awarded 168 scholarships totaling more than $156,000. For the upcoming academic year, the group will select up to six students to receive scholarships of $2,000 each.&nbsp;</p>
