Presented at the recent 2010 Greenbuild Expo in Chicago the grant\nincludes a $5,000 cash award for Dining Services to invest in additional\nsustainability measures.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe grant\nwas established to honor the individual or company submitting a sustainability\ncase study judged as the most innovative and best-executed foodservice\nsustainability project of the year. Georgia Tech Dining Services, operated\nby Sodexo, was selected for the recognition from among numerous entrants\nnationwide including K-12 schools, restaurants, healthcare facilities and other\nhigher education institutions.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech\u2019s multifaceted approach to sustainability\nincludes energy- and water-saving initiatives, intensive composting and\nrecycling programs and the introduction of more local and organic produce.
