As a part of Georgia Tech’s Tech Ends Suicide Together initiative, the Counseling Center offers free 2-hour trainings to all students, faculty and staff who are interested in learning more about the QPR approach. Question, Persuade, and Refer are the three steps that anyone can learn to help prevent individuals from committing suicide. QPR is known as the most widely taught gatekeeper training in the world and is designed to give insight on the warning signs of suicide. 

Each session includes didactic instruction, role play exercises, and a period for questions and discussion. Upon completion, participants will have the knowledge and skills needed to identify high-risk individuals, offer hope and ultimately, help save lives. 

The Georgia Tech community is encouraged to join the Counseling Center and QPR trainers this Spring for an in-depth experience that can help prevent suicide.
