He is the principal investigator of the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/reinhard.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EEarth System Science@Georgia Tech\u003C\/a\u003E research group, studying biogeochemistry and paleoclimate.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;It\u0026#39;s humbling to receive the Sigma Xi Young Faculty Award,\u0026rdquo; Reinhard says. \u0026ldquo;Science is never really done in a vacuum, and awards like this must be shared with the great students, postdocs, and collaborators I\u0026#39;ve been lucky to cross paths with during my career. More than anything else, this award is a testament to how\u0026nbsp;fortunate I have been to end up at an institution full of remarkable faculty, academic professionals, and staff that inspire me to try and be a better scientist, teacher, and colleague every day.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EReinhard was the co-recipient of the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/cos.gatech.edu\/hg\/item\/596036\u0022\u003E2017 Eric R.
