  <title><![CDATA[Woodall Co-Authors Article on the Lessons COVID-19 can Teach us About Sustainable Development Through a Transportation Lens]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Brian Woodall, a professor in the Nunn School has co-authored &ldquo;<a href="https://www.preprints.org/manuscript/202004.0047/v1">Reflections on Pandemics, Civil Infrastructure and Sustainable Development: Five Lessons from COVID-19 through the Lens of Transportation</a>&rdquo; published in Preprints.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The article co-authored with Adjo Amekudzi‐Kennedy, a professor at&nbsp;Georgia Tech&rsquo;s School of Civil &amp; Environmental Engineering, Samuel Labi, a professor at the Purdue University&rsquo;s Lyles School of Engineering, Mikhail Chester, an associate professor at Arizona State University&rsquo;s School of Sustainable Engineering &amp; the Built Environment, and Prerna Singh, a Ph.D. Candidate at Georgia Tech&rsquo;s School of Civil &amp; Environmental Engineering, looks at five lessons COVID-19 can teach us about sustainable development through a transportation lens.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Woodall, whose research focuses on sustainable development, is the author of &ldquo;Growing Democracy in Japan: The Parliamentary Cabinet System Since 1868&rdquo;&nbsp; published by the University Press of Kentucky, &ldquo;Japan Under Construction: Corruption, Politics, and Public Works&rdquo; published by the University of California Press, and&nbsp; &ldquo;Japan&#39;s Changing World Role&rdquo; published in Japan Society.</p>
