It was originally scheduled to be held in Atlanta near the Georgia Tech campus.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EOver 220 academics at the 14\u003Csup\u003Eth\u003C\/sup\u003E annual event are convening and discussing work that is especially relevant during a time of an ongoing global health crisis and social unrest that has taken root across the United States.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EResearch in the conference proceedings include many topics directly addressing social ills and injustices that are magnified online as well as potential ways to better understand and mitigate them.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESeveral College of Computing faculty, current and former students, and postdoctoral researchers are part of the organizing committee. \u003Cstrong\u003EMunmun De Choudhury\u003C\/strong\u003E (Interactive Computing) is serving as the general chair of the conference this year. Former Human-Centered Computing PhD student \u003Cstrong\u003EStevie Chancellor\u003C\/strong\u003E is workshop chair, former Computer Science PhD student \u003Cstrong\u003ETanushree Mitra\u003C\/strong\u003E is tutorials chair, current CS PhD student \u003Cstrong\u003EKoustuv Saha\u003C\/strong\u003E is web chair, and current postdoc \u003Cstrong\u003ETalayeh Aledavood\u003C\/strong\u003E is local\/social chair.
