And I don\u0026rsquo;t know when I\u0026rsquo;ll be back.\u0026rdquo; He\u0026rsquo;s found comfort in talking to his adviser, \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/chemistry.gatech.edu\/faculty\/marder\/\u0022\u003ESeth Marder\u003C\/a\u003E. Marder says he tries to remind Al Kurdi and his other students that this won\u0026rsquo;t last forever. \u0026ldquo;Keep your eyes on the big picture,\u0026rdquo; Marder says.
