{"63798":{"#nid":"63798","#data":{"type":"event","title":"American Medical Student Association Pre-Health School Fair  and Conference","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe American Medical Student Association (AMSA) at Georgia Tech will host a school fair open to all Tech students from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. as part of its pre-health conference.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ERepresentatives from more than 70 graduate institutions will be in attendance, with information about programs including medical school, dental school, pharmacy school and public health. Any student with an interest in these or other health-related programs are welcome and encouraged to attend.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EDress is business casual and students should bring their BuzzCards for the school fair. The fair will be held at the College of Management in the second and third floor atria.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EAbout the AMSA Conference\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe rest of the AMSA pre-health conference is closed to those who have already registered, but will include\u0026nbsp;workshops throughout the day centered around topics such as preparation for the MCAT and interviews, exploring healthcare professions and admissions advice. The event has 200 Tech students registered.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Congressman Phil Gingrey, M.D., will deliver a keynote about how healthcare reform may affect pre-med and pre-health students.
