After Belgium, which held the EU Presidency in the second half of 2010, Hungary, as of January 1st, 2011, is the third country of the EU Trio Presidency. \u0026nbsp;These three countries are the first to work under the rules of the EU\u0027s new Lisbon Treaty and have the responsibility to define a working method to ensure a smooth transition without neglecting the treaty\u0027s political advances.
