CS is the largest major at Georgia Tech.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch5\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.usnews.com\/best-colleges\/rankings\/computer-science-overall\u0022\u003E[Complete U.S. News \u0026amp; World Report 2021 Undergraduate Computer Science Rankings]\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/h5\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThese rankings \u0026ndash; particularly in cybersecurity \u0026shy;\u0026ndash;\u0026nbsp;are well-timed for the College of Computing. The new \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/scp.cc.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EGeorgia Tech School of Cybersecurity and Privacy\u003C\/a\u003E will be formally announced later this week.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo;The new School of Cybersecurity and Privacy is the first of its kind among top research universities and builds on Georgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s substantial investment into education and research in this critically important field,\u0026rdquo; said Isbell, who also holds the John P. Imlay Jr. chair.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAlong with cybersecurity and software engineering, Georgia Tech also ranked well in artificial intelligence (No. 9), computer systems (No. 8), data analysis\/science (No. 8), and theory (No. 10).\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EOther \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/news.gatech.edu\/2020\/09\/14\/georgia-tech-continues-lead-among-universities-nationwide-engineering-and-computing\u0022\u003EGeorgia Tech schools also fared well in the new U.S. News undergraduate rankings\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis is the first year that undergraduate CS is included in rankings. According to U.S. News, adding CS to its undergraduate ranking highlights one of the most rapidly growing and important majors in higher education today. U.S. News evaluated 481 undergraduate CS programs.
