  <title><![CDATA[School Chair Laura Taylor Presents at the Georgia Tech Global Climate Action Symposium]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Taylor will join panelists Ambassador Marcel Beukeboom of the Netherlands, Shelby Buso, Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Atlanta, and Mirgana Spoljaric Egger of the United Nations Development Programme to discuss COVID19 and green recovery at the&nbsp;<a href="https://globalchange.gatech.edu/events/gcas2020/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Global Climate Action Symposium</a>&nbsp;on October 6-8.</p>

<p>The second annual&nbsp;<a href="https://globalchange.gatech.edu/events/gcas2020/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Global Climate Action Symposium</a>&nbsp;brings together local and international scientists, engineers, business and policy experts, student leaders, and artists to showcase climate change solutions. The virtual event is jointly sponsored by Georgia Tech and six European consulates during European Climate Diplomacy Week. President &Aacute;ngel Cabrera will deliver opening remarks.</p>
