{"640473":{"#nid":"640473","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Annual Compliance Training Now Live","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EUPDATE: (Dec. 4, 2020) Due to technical issues with the learning management platform (D2L), the deadline to complete this year\u0026rsquo;s Annual Compliance Training has been extended to Dec. 14 at midnight ET.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E*****************\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBeginning today, all faculty, staff (including Tech Temps), and student employees hired prior to Oct. 1, 2020, may complete the 2020 Annual Compliance Training. This year, employees are required to complete the following four training modules:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Col\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EUSG Ethics Training.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EInformation Security\/Cybersecurity Training.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EGeorgia Tech Foreign Influence, Research Integrity, and Conflict of Interest Training.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EConflict of Interest Attestation.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ol\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EYou must complete all four of the Compliance Training modules between Oct. 26 and Nov. 16. Employees who do not fully complete the requirements by midnight on Nov. 16 may receive a formal disciplinary notice from the Institute, and their access to Georgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s network may also be revoked.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Annual Compliance Training can be completed on a desktop or laptop. It should take approximately 45 minutes, and it does not have to be completed at one time.
