  <body><![CDATA[<p>Samsung is partnering&nbsp;with Georgia Tech on research associated with consumer electronics so that&nbsp;individuals with disabilities can achieve independence, improve&nbsp;quality of life, and enhance their community participation.&nbsp;The electronics manufacturing giant is highlighting&nbsp;its partnership with the <a href="http://www.wirelessrerc.gatech.edu">Wireless Inclusive Technologies Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (RERC)</a>, a collaboration including&nbsp;Shepherd Center&rsquo;s Virginia C. Crawford Research Institute and Georgia Tech. <a href="https://psychology.gatech.edu/people/faculty/431">Bruce Walker,</a> professor in the School of Psychology and director of the&nbsp;<a href="http://sonify.psych.gatech.edu">Sonification Lab</a>, is a member of&nbsp;the RERC.&nbsp;</p>
