Impact presents a conversation with\u0026nbsp;Kevin Edwards moderated by Net Impact.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EKevin\u0026nbsp;is responsible for developing a vision, strategic Diversity, Equity\u0026nbsp;\u0026amp;\u0026nbsp;Inclusion (DE\u0026amp;I)\u0026nbsp;roadmap, and enterprise plan to implement key\u0026nbsp;program\u0026nbsp;actions to support progress in our\u0026nbsp;DE\u0026amp;I efforts.\u0026nbsp; This often includes programs to advance diverse talent within leadership roles; talent acquisition process updates to drive intentional and deliberate actions to improve opportunities for\u0026nbsp;existing and new early career\u0026nbsp;diverse talent;\u0026nbsp;and\u0026nbsp;cultivating work or learning environments that encourage and support diversity\u0026nbsp;and inclusive practices.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe overall objective of the DE\u0026amp;I efforts is to ensure each employee can\u0026nbsp;show up\u0026nbsp;to work\u0026nbsp;as they are, have hope and continuous opportunities to advance within our organization, regardless of their race, gender, age, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or disability.\u202f\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBefore leading diversity and inclusion, Kevin led the\u0026nbsp;Quality and Six Sigma\u0026nbsp;Infrastructure functional\u0026nbsp;team\u0026nbsp;and other Corporate EPC quality roles.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;Prior to his quality assignments, Kevin was\u202ffield engineering manager\u0026nbsp;(PFE)\u0026nbsp;for the Dulles Corridor Metrorail project in Virginia. Kevin has also served in roles including lead field engineer,\u0026nbsp;lead resident engineer\u0026nbsp;and project engineering.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EKevin has a Master of Engineering in environmental engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Rutgers University.\u202f\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EThe 2020\/21 series will feature conversations on race, social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n","summary":null,"format":"limited_html"}],"field_subtitle":"","field_summary":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EJoin us for a virtual Impact session on Wednesday, March 31 from 5 pm to 6 pm.
