Join Tri-Beta in welcoming ecologist and professor Dr. Marc Weissburg to our first of the semesters' academic presentation from the Georgia Tech biology staff. Dr. Weissburg will discuss the Antarctic ecosystem and his own experiences living in and researching its inhabitants. He will be sharing first-hand accounts of incredibly interesting and unique research on Antarctic krill so feel free to come, listen, and ask questions!
"I’ll be talking about living and working in Antarctica to investigate krill behavior. Why do we need to know about krill, their importance to the Antarctic ecosystem and humans. What’s it like to live and work in one of the most remote, inhospitable, and beautiful places one can imagine."
