Look for Freshman Foundation representatives outside the dining halls to make your contribution to GTSF and out-eat your friends.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThis year, GTSF issued a\nchallenge to Freshman Foundation: collect 200 donations from the freshman\nclass. Freshman Foundation needs your help in order to reach and exceed this goal, and to uphold the long tradition of giving back and supporting Georgia Tech. Freshman Foundation will host a series of events on campus to reward students for making a $5 donation and supporting the freshman class. Freshman Foundation will accept donations outside dining halls and at events throughout the week.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EAbout GTSF:\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EGTSF is a collegiate foundation operated solely by students, including the development, investment and allocation of funds. The Foundation awards grants to student organizations and students whose\nideas or projects enhance Georgia Tech. These grants are funded from an endowment\nthat presently totals near $850,000. Members of GTSF raise funds to\nincrease the organization\u0027s endowment, oversee a diverse portfolio in the stock\nmarket and allocate the interest and dividends to student projects.
