Khan is a Ph.D. student in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EKhan\u0026rsquo;s research looked at how to ensure an aerial robot\u0026#39;s flight remains operational in the presence of latencies. These aerial robots typically communicate with other ground\/aerial robots over a cloud-based infrastructure. While the cloud-based infrastructure provides network and computational benefits, latencies become an inevitable phenomenon. This especially poses a challenge to safety-critical aerial robots.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EKhan has been a member of the Low-power, Adaptive, and Resilient Systems Laboratory since January 2019, and he is advised by ECE Professor Abhijit Chatterjee. Khan received his bachelor of science degree in ECE from\u0026nbsp;Texas A\u0026amp;M University.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Nokia Bell Labs 2020 Summer Internship Program was entirely virtual and took place between last June through August.
