Dr. Tentzeris is a professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EHis paper, \u0022Inkjet-Printed System-on-Paper\/Polymer \u0027Green\u0027 RFID and Wireless Sensors,\u0022 was chosen for this honor by a majority vote of 150 attendants of the focused RF session. \n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe work presented in this paper potentially sets the foundation for the first \u0022green\u0022 generation of RFID-enabled sensors for biomonitoring, environmental monitoring, energy conservancy, and wearable electronics. It is also the first practical demonstration of nanotechnology, inkjet-printed electronics and sensing on ultra-low cost paper substrates, a critical step for the first \u0022Internet of things\u0022 implementations.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EDr. Tentzeris\u0027 coauthors on the paper are his graduate students, Rushi Vyas, Vasilis Lakafosis, Anya Traille, Amin Rida, and George Shaker.\n\u003C\/p\u003E","summary":null,"format":"limited_html"}],"field_subtitle":"","field_summary":[{"value":"Manos Tentzeris won the best of session award at the IEEE Electronic Components and Technology Conference.
