646115 news 1617631302 1617631302 <![CDATA[Students for Education Coalition]]> The SEC is meant to be a coalition of students across campus who want to engage with their community through K-12 education in a variety of ways: outreach efforts, tutors, mentors, leaders, ambassadors, coaches, camp counselors, etc. - possibly even become teachers after graduation. The vision is that SEC will be a resource of information for students, staff and faculty as well as be a group that can work at K-12 education events on and off campus that call for volunteers, especially those organized by or in collaboration with the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC).

SEC is not an official Tech organization at this point.  You have the opportunity to start something from the ground up!
