Since 2002, he has been a regular commentator in the Turkish media. He serves as a prominent columnist for Hurriyet Daily News, Turkey\u0027s foremost English-language daily. Akyol\u0027s articles have appeared in other publications including Foreign Affairs, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, International Herald Tribune, Newsweek, The Washington Times, The American Enterprise Magazine and IslamOnline. He also writes a column for the Turkish-language daily Star.
