Did you know that eight IBB faculty are former awardees of the Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF) Career Awards at the Scientific Interface (CASI) transition awards?

This is a unique funding mechanism for postdocs who are working in biology with backgrounds in the physical/mathematical/computational or engineering science. BWF's CASI provide $500,000 over five years to bridge advanced postdoctoral training and the first three years of faculty service.
