{"648944":{"#nid":"648944","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Move-in Volunteer\u00a0Interest\u00a0Town Hall","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EMove-in activities for fall semester begin\u0026nbsp;on\u0026nbsp;August 14,\u0026nbsp;when\u0026nbsp;we\u0026nbsp;welcome\u0026nbsp;more than 8500 students to their on-campus home.\u0026nbsp;Campus Services and Housing and Residence Life are preparing for five\u0026nbsp;days of\u0026nbsp;move-in, August 14, 15, 18, 20, and 21,\u0026nbsp;that\u0026nbsp;will\u0026nbsp;bring\u0026nbsp;exciting\u0026nbsp;energy (and\u0026nbsp;some\u0026nbsp;traffic) to campus during\u0026nbsp;Georgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s\u0026nbsp;Week of Welcome.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EOn\u0026nbsp;Monday, July 26 at 11 a.m., the Housing and Residence Life team\u0026nbsp;will host\u0026nbsp;a\u003Cstrong\u003E Move-in Volunteer\u0026nbsp;Interest\u0026nbsp;Town Hall\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp;both\u0026nbsp;in-person in CULC 144 or\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/primetime.bluejeans.com\/a2m\/live-event\/fejqdsrf\u0022 rel=\u0022noreferrer noopener\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003Evirtually on BlueJeans.\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;There,\u0026nbsp;you\u0026rsquo;ll hear from Kasey Helton, John Stein, and Kari White\u0026nbsp;about the opportunities to volunteer and the potential impact we can make on our students.\u0026nbsp;This session is for both those who have already signed up to volunteer and those who are still considering.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWe have a variety of\u0026nbsp;volunteer opportunities for faculty\u0026nbsp;and staff to be a part of our streamlined process, whether at our\u0026nbsp;centralized mobile check-in\u0026nbsp;or at the\u0026nbsp;area\u202funloading zones.\u0026nbsp;Volunteers will help with things like\u0026nbsp;greeting families as they arrive, managing volunteers, directing traffic, unloading cars, and more.
