Omicron Delta Epsilon is one of the world\u0027s largest academic honor societies. Currently, Omicron Delta Epsilon has 652 chapters located in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Egypt, France, and United Arab Emirates. Students are inducted at a luncheon each Fall and Spring semester. This year\u0027s keynote address was given by Economics Alumnae, Mrs. Kimberly Colbourne, Financial Advisor, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe honor society\u0027s main objectives include recognizing and honoring academic achievements in economics and establishing closer ties between students and faculty in economics. The Kappa of Georgia Chapter of ODE currently has 40 active members. To be invited to join ODE, students must have completed at least 60 total credit hours, completed 12 hours of Economics coursework, and have an overall GPA of at least 3.0. Members are eligible for the ODE academic award, $150 and engraved cup, presented to the graduating student(s) with the highest GPA.
