{"649524":{"#nid":"649524","#data":{"type":"event","title":"2021 Staff Council Nomination Period Open","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EDEADLINE EXTENDED THROUGH WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8!\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ENominations for Staff Council will be open August 16 - September 8.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EStaff members are invited to nominate someone, or themselves, for a three-year term as a regular member \u003Cem\u003Eor\u003C\/em\u003E\u0026nbsp;one-year term as a committee member.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe following regular member seats are available in the respective JCCS categories: Administrative and Professional (4\u0026nbsp;seats); Skilled Trades (1 seat); Scientific and Research (1 seat); Information Technology (2 seats); and Development (1 seat). Candidates (both nominated and self-nominated) must meet the following criteria:\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EThe staff member must hold a job title in the JCCS category\u0026nbsp;under which they are applying.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EThe staff member must have full-time or part-time (20 hours\/week) status.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EThe staff member must have completed at least one year of service (12 consecutive months) at Georgia Tech with a staff title as of August 16, 2020.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EThe staff member may not hold a title(s) related to the following: academic faculty; executive or senior leadership; affiliate (e.g., Alumni Association, Foundation, etc.); research faculty; retiree; or student.
