Most recently, he led Advanced Manufacturing \u0026amp; Materials for Boeing Commercial Airplane\u0026rsquo;s Product Strategy and Future Airplane Development organization with responsibility for developing the production system for Boeing\u0026rsquo;s future products and maturing and inserting new materials and manufacturing processes in existing products and production systems.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; Prior to this assignment, Jerry led Materials \u0026amp; Manufacturing Technology for Boeing Research \u0026amp; Technology with responsibility for 750,000 sq-ft of laboratories and 1100 engineers and scientists striving to find, mature and implement technologies which improve Boeing\u0026rsquo;s products and production systems.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EJerry has directed more than $1B of internal and contract research and development and worked on a variety of developmental products for Boeing\u0026rsquo;s defense and commercial businesses including B2, JSF, F22, 777 and 787.\u0026nbsp; He holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at University of Pennsylvania\u0026rsquo;s Wharton Business School.
