Morton, Jr. is a Research Scientist for the Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA). After completing his training in the history of science and technology at Georgia Tech in 1995, he was Research Historian for the IEEE History Center at Rutgers University from 1995-2002. At the IEEE, he taught history at Rutgers, managed a large oral history collection, participated in historic preservation activities and developed content for the IEEE Virtual Museum, leading to a growing interest in Web design and online communities. He came to the School of Architecture in 2007, then joined CATEA in 2008 as Web Developer. Dr. Morton\u0027s fields of expertise include the history of sound recording, electronics, the electric power industry, and computing. His publications include \u003Cem\u003EOff the Record: The Technology and Culture of Sound Recording in America\u003C\/em\u003E (Rutgers Univ.
