651278 news 1633027696 1633027739 <![CDATA[Bullinger Publishes Article on Medicaid Access for Former Foster Youth]]> Lindsey Bullinger, assistant professor in the School of Public Policy, recently published an article in Health Affairs titled “The Affordable Care Act Increased Medicaid Coverage Among Foster Youth.” In it, Bullinger and co-author Angélica Meinhofer discuss how expanding Medicaid led to an increase in Medicaid coverage for former foster youth who’d recently aged out of the system.

“Our findings imply that the ACA improved Medicaid coverage among former foster youth, with the largest effects from Medicaid expansion,” wrote Bullinger and Meinhofer.
