{"651735":{"#nid":"651735","#data":{"type":"news","title":"2021 Annual Compliance Training Coming Soon","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe 2021 Annual Compliance Training will help define \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/strategicplan.gatech.edu\/values\/living-our-values-every-day\u0022\u003ELiving Our Values\u003C\/a\u003E at Georgia Tech, reinforce the University System of Georgia (USG) ethical standards and cybersecurity requirements, and remind us all about the importance of research integrity, reporting external activities, and navigating foreign influence.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ENew this year, the Annual Compliance Training will take place in the fall to coincide with\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/generalcounsel.gatech.edu\/ethics-first\/ethics-awareness-week\u0022\u003E Ethics Awareness Week\u003C\/a\u003E. Faculty, staff (including Tech Temps), and student employees hired prior to Oct. 1, 2021, are required to complete this year\u0026rsquo;s four training modules:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Col\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EUSG Ethics Training\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EInformation Security\/Cybersecurity Training\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EGeorgia Tech Foreign Influence, Research Integrity, and Conflict of Interest Training\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EConflict of Interest Attestation\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ol\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EYou must complete all four of the Compliance Training modules between Oct. 25 and Nov. 19. Employees who do not fully complete the requirements by midnight on Nov. 19 may receive a formal disciplinary notice from the Institute.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Annual Compliance Training can be completed on a desktop or laptop.
