The mission of the institute is to develop collaborative AI partners-in-care that help support a growing population of older adults, helping them sustain independence, improve quality of life, and increase effectiveness of care coordination across their care network.   

AI-CARING is sponsored by NSF and is a collaboration between Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon University, Oregon State University, the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Oregon Health & Science University.

The event will feature a series of talks outlining the key research challenges and innovations that the Institute will pursue.
