  <title><![CDATA[Genocide, Survivorship, and Reconciliation: A Conversation with Kizito Kalima]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Please join us for a conversation with Kizito D. Kalima, the Founder and Executive Director of the Peace Center for Forgiveness &amp; Reconciliation, a public speaker, and an advocate for genocide survivors.</p>

<p>The Kalima family was devastated by the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Kizito will speak about his experience as a genocide survivor and how he approaches the process of reconciliation in the aftermath of atrocity. There will be a Q+A session during which attendees are invited to ask questions. The event will be followed by a book signing.</p>

<p>Moderated by Dr. Brigitte Stepanov, Assistant Professor, School of Modern Languages</p>

<p>This is a hybrid event, free and open to all.</p>
