Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, and is also affiliated with the Ivan Allen College\u0027s Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy (CISTP)\u0027s \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.cistp.gatech.edu\/programs\/nuclear-nonproliferation\/\u0022\u003ENuclear Nonproliferation Program\u003C\/a\u003E.  His research interests include Nuclear and Radiological Engineering\/Medical Physics: Particle transport and numerical methods, nuclear systems analysis with parallel computing: power generation, defense programs, non-destructive testing, detection, and medical applications. Also, heat transfer, computational fluids, and high-performance computing applications. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Her research focuses on supply chain management, with an emphasis on resource allocation, revenue management, auctions\/pricing, due date\/lead-time decisions, production planning\/scheduling, and logistics\/transportation. She has worked on projects in several industries including automotive, semiconductor, paper manufacturing, printing, healthcare, and airlines. She is also actively engaged in research and applications in healthcare and humanitarian logistics. Her research interests are in the areas of trade policy, intellectual property rights, multinational investments, monetary policy and economic development. She has also worked with several community outreach projects focusing on issues such as poverty, health care and education. His current research projects explore energy security in East Asia, campaign finance and political corruption in Japan, and the evolution of Japanese democracy.
