65297 event 1301645526 1475891682 <![CDATA[Jonah Bokaer Performance at the Ferst Center for the Arts]]> The Ferst Center welcomes award-winning choreographer and media artist Jonah Bokaer in a new year-long dance residency program, ARTech, that culminates in the performance of two pieces: FILTER, the new work created during the residency, and REPLICA, a piece that examines memory loss, pattern recognition, and perceptual faculties as they apply to the human body.

Bokaer will utilize a new technology solution, Mass Mobile, created by College of Computing master's student Stephen Garrett.  Mass Mobile allows audience members to engage with the performace through a smart phone application.  In this performance, Mass Mobile will enable the audience to influencing the lighting.
