Users are being asked to transition from AnyConnect to the\u0026nbsp;GlobalProtect VPN service in a phased approach.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGlobalProtect\u0026nbsp;is a client and clientless-based remote access VPN solution, which offers a higher capacity and higher performance VPN solution.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EPhases for the transition are as follows:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EIT Community: Nov. 2, 2021\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EFaculty\/Staff\/Employees: Dec. 21, 2021\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003EStudents\/Other Users: May 10, 2022\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAccess to Cisco AnyConnect VPN for faculty and staff will be disabled on Tuesday, Dec. 21. Before this time, Georgia Tech employees are encouraged to\u0026nbsp;install and begin using\u0026nbsp;GlobalProtect\u0026nbsp;VPN offered at\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/vpn.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003Evpn.gatech.edu\u003C\/a\u003E.
