She is a member of The Greens and holds membership in the Budget Committee and the Committee of Transport and Tourism. After graduating as a nurse, Isabelle Durant then went on to receive a degree in social and economic policies and social promotion at Fopes\/UCL University. At the beginning of her professional career, she carried out school medical examinations in working-class districts, before working as a professional teacher in Brussels, as well as in the field of social development in local areas.
