We have overcome this limitation and developed a general ligand binding assay for soluble proteins of unknown structure and\/or function.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ESong Seto\u003C\/strong\u003E - Advisor, Johnna Temenoff\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003E\u0022Priming Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) in Heparin-Containing Hydrogels via Coculture\u0022\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EPriming stem cells toward a more differentiated state may be achieved by coculture with a differentiated cell type. My work examines the utility of covalently immobilized heparin in PEG-based hydrogels to promote an osteogenic phenotype in encapsulated MSCs while in coculture with osteoblasts.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Graduate and Post-Doc (GaP) Seminar Series is a weekly event of biotechnology related research presentations by two graduate students or post-docs of IBB and is co-sponsored by BME.
