I work with LMC \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.lmc.gatech.edu\/programs\u0022\u003Emajors\u003C\/a\u003E and students with LMC \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.lmc.gatech.edu\/programs\/minors\u0022\u003Eminors\u003C\/a\u003E. I also provide programmatic support for \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/gmc.iac.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003Ethe M.S. Global Media \u0026amp; Cultures\u003C\/a\u003E program, a joint degree between LMC and the School of Modern Languages.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWho had the greatest influence on your education and\/or career path?\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/h2\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EMy mom taught elementary school throughout my childhood and early adult years, and I loved spending time in her classrooms helping after school. I stumbled into academic advising after I realized that helping my friends plan their schedules in college was actually a real job!\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhat do you enjoy\u0026nbsp;most\u0026nbsp;about your work? \u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/h2\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI love strategizing the best ways to support my students. The best parts of advising are helping students achieve their goals, guiding them through their time here at Tech, and getting set up for success in their future endeavors.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhy did you decide to work at Georgia Tech, and what\u0026#39;s the best part about working here?\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/h2\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI really enjoy working with liberal arts at an Institute most known for STEM. As an English major, albeit many years ago, I understand the value of a liberal arts degree and am so grateful for my experiences.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWhat moment in LMC\/at Georgia Tech stands out as the most memorable? \u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/h2\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EI met with my first group of FASET orientation students in 2018 and now get to see them graduate \u0026shy;\u0026mdash; so I think my most memorable moment might just happen at this year\u0026rsquo;s graduation!\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EDo you have any advice for LMC students at Georgia Tech?\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/h2\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ETake advantage of all the exciting opportunities available to you as a student at Georgia Tech.
