The \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.orbis.2022.02.013\u0022\u003Eessay\u003C\/a\u003E is titled \u0026ldquo;China\u0026rsquo;s 5G Networks: A Tool for Advancing Digital Authoritarianism Abroad?\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EIn it, the authors examine the idea that the People\u0026rsquo;s Republic of China is using 5G to promote its commercial interests and advance digital authoritarianism abroad.
