  <title><![CDATA[Dhongde wins Dean George C. Griffin Faculty of the Year Award]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p><a href="https://econ.gatech.edu/people/person/shatakshee-dhongde">Shatakshee Dhongde</a>, associate dean of academic affairs and associate professor in the <a href="https://econ.gatech.edu/">School of Economics</a>, won the Dean George C. Griffin Faculty of the Year Award.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Georgia Tech&#39;s Student Government Association&nbsp;presented the award to Dhongde on April 11&nbsp;at the Up With the White &amp; Gold ceremony organized by the Center for Student Engagement.</p>

<p>Dhongde expressed her sincere gratitude to the students who nominated her for the award. &quot;It is an honor to serve our students and receive an award named after Dean Griffin, who always put students at the center of his work,&quot; she said. &nbsp;</p>
