One faculty member, staff member, student, and campus unit who have advanced the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Georgia Tech will be recognized at the 2022 Diversity Symposium in September.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Ch3\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ECriteria\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/h3\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ERecipients of 2022 Diversity Champion Awards should have demonstrated one or more of the following within the past three years:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ECommitment to research and\/or activities that engage and challenge racism and expand diversity, equity, and inclusion at Tech\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ELeadership in building a culture of inclusion and belonging among underrepresented groups in our communities\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EScholarship or work that advances a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusive excellence at Georgia Tech\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EOrganized, conducted, and\/or supported programs, events, and activities that promote an understanding of different cultures and creating an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging at Tech\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAll full-time Georgia Tech faculty and staff, students, and units are eligible for this award, with the exception of previous recipients of a Diversity Champion Award or Gender Equity Champion Award.
