  <title><![CDATA[Cool Insights: How Can We Get Value From Product Traceability?]]></title>

of <em>Food Logistics</em></a>, Dr. H. Donald Ratliff authored the third installment for the <em>Cool
Insights</em> column, titled “How Can We Get Value From Product Traceability?”.&nbsp; &nbsp;Ratliff
discusses the major cost of
traceability is the capturing of information by each enterprise in the chain
and making this information electronically available by labels or RFID tags.</p>
