669154 event 1692900643 1693584210 <![CDATA[Building Belonging: Sharing an LGBTQIA Identity with Family and Friends]]> Sharing your gender and/or sexuality with loved ones or new friends can be challenging and leaves many LGBTQIA students, who want to come out, uncertain about where to begin. To help with this, we've created this opportunity where students can learn about the coming out process, common things to consider when sharing an LGBTQIA identity, and resources to direct friends and family to should they have questions. This session will also provide students an opportunity to practice sharing and boundary setting to protect their own health and well-being in these conversations.
