669212 event 1693247342 1693247342 <![CDATA[QPR Training with the LGBTQIA Resource Center]]> Many college students have thoughts of suicide at some point in their life, however, those who identify as queer or gender non-confirming are three times more likely to experience thoughts. Many people often want to give help and support to these individuals, but often feel unsure and uneasy about what to do. There is a great deal of taboo surrounding suicide, asking for help, and knowing what to say. However, it only takes a moment to break these barriers and to receive and offer help. Come attend our QPR training on Sept 5th from 5pm – 7pm to come learn more about how to help those in our community who may be struggling with suicide.
