This is the first of what we hope will be many Music + Tech talks. This first talk will address a number of questions that the GA Tech School of Music and College of Design have about the music business and tech. How do you get into the music business? What is the future of the music business with streaming and the development of AI? What is music publishing and how do I protect my copyrights? How do I get my music to the right executives to hear?

This panel has been carefully composed so as to give students a variety of input from industry insiders. We hope you will join us for the inaugural Music + Tech Talk.

]]> Join moderator Liz Garner (music publishing) for a panel discussion with titans of the Atlanta music industry, including Dallas Austin, KP The Great, DL Warfield, Laney Stewart, Isaac Hayes, and Octavius Crouch. This will take place at 512 Means Street (the same building as the Robotic Musicianship Lab): enter on the main level and take the elevator to the basement event room. It is a ~10 minute walk from west campus.
