In Binek\u0027s class, the students are instructed to physically line up for a service and they could \u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan\u003Eobserve\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E with high variability in service time, even with the same mean, the line builds up longer on average than when there is little variability.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/span\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cspan lang=\u0022EN-US\u0022\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EBinek\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E describes their approach \u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan\u003Estating\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cspan\u003E, \u0022We conducted in-class activities to demonstrate queuing systems and their dynamics.
