Using Gradescope for Grading Equity

Ensuring that grading is fair, consistent, and useful for students is one of the great challenges facing faculty today. Gradescope, a feedback and grading platform provided by Turnitin helps faculty ensure a more equitable grading process.

In this session, we will discuss how faculty use Gradescope tools like anonymous grading and adjustable rubrics to ensure grading fairness while providing useful feedback to students on their performance, and providing detailed statistics for faculty development. We will also learn how Gradescope can be used to support ungrading and the professional development of TAs and Graders.
