Ashour (born in 1998 in Gaza) is a published poet, award-winning children's book writer, and a contributor to various journals. His work has been translated into multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Finnish. In 2022, he was honored as a writing fellow at the University of Iowa and has also served as a creative writing mentor for children and young adults.
