672690 news 1706827732 1706827902 <![CDATA[Construction Begins for Women's Walk Installation Near the Student Center Pathways]]> Beginning February 19, 2024, the Georgia Tech Women’s Walk Project will begin construction and site infrastructure work. Normal work hours will be Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Construction fencing will be installed around the site perimeter and a section of the sidewalk with direct paths to the John Lewis Student Center and the Ferst Center for the Arts will be temporary closed. All pedestrian traffic will be re-routed around these two buildings to the routes shown in the logistics plan below. 

This project installation is expected to be complete in early October 2024. Click here for more information on the Women's Walk.
