In a congratulatory letter, Dr. Mayuresh V. Kothare,\nchair of the AIChE CAST Division Awards committee, lauded Dr. Grover for developing\nmethods for engineering materials structures that are both systematic and\npractical.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EA member of the Center for Chemical Evolution\nand the Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics (COPE) at Georgia Tech, Dr.\nGrover conducts research that focuses on understanding macromolecular\norganization and the emergence of biological function through the kinetics of\nself-assembly, stochastic modeling, model reduction, machine learning,\nexperimental design, robust parameter design, and estimation.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EA 2004 recipient of a National Science\nFoundation (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program Award, Dr.\nGrover joined the ChBE faculty in 2003 after receiving her doctorate degree\nfrom the California Institute of Technology.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\u003Cp\u003EDr. Grover will formally receive the\nOutstanding Young Researcher Award at the CAST Division dinner, which will be\nheld at the AIChE Annual Meeting this fall in Minneapolis.
