Unfortunately, the fabrication of large tissue constructs is limited by insufficient transport to the interior of the tissue construct resulting in poor tissue growth. To overcome this challenge, we propose a hydrogel culture system which provides nutrient and waste exchange within the developing tissue through an embedded microfluidic network.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Graduate and Post-Doc (GaP) Seminar Series is a weekly event of research presentations by two graduate students or post-docs conducting bio-related research.\u0026nbsp; The series is organized and sponsored by the Parker H.
