We all dread dealing with cheating in our classes. However, the more we know about best practices, the more likely we are to effectively promote academic integrity among our students. Join us for a discussion of best practices from prevention to enforcement. This interactive workshop will explore the data on factors that lead to - and deter - cheating, as well as the Georgia Tech faculty resources that are available to assist you in the promotion of academic integrity.

Pass the Book Club: Discussion of 'How Learning Works' (over lunch)

We will talk about the "seven research-based principles for smart teaching," and how they can apply to your own teaching at Georgia Tech. This workshop is open to all book club participants as well as any one who read the book on their own.

"Just in Time" T-Square

Learn the basics necessary for getting off to a good start. This is a hands-on introductory session for faculty who want to use T-Square in their classes in the fall semester. Bring your syllabus in an electronic format along with any other teaching materials you may wish to upload.
